An Excellent New Clinical Genetics Opportunity is now available to join a well established Medical Genetics Program for a Nationally Renowned Children’s Hospital in Spectacular Western Montana!
This is an attractive employment opportunity to work with a leading Board Certified Geneticist and take over a retiring specialist’s practice to provide genetic evaluations, testing and counseling for patients and families throughout the Rocky Mountain Region!
The new Geneticist will be involved in cancer genetics clinics, prenatal genetic testing and counseling, as well as with neuro and cardiac genetics. The majority of all the genetic testing is done onsite and interest in Lab Analysis and/or Advanced Genetic Testing is welcomed! The opportunity to work with Native American and Hutterite patient populations for genetic testing/research is also available.
The Geneticists evaluate patients of all ages and enjoy an outpatient practice without weekend or Call duties. They typically see an average of 6-8 patients a day in the clinic, along with approximately 2-4 telemedicine patient consults. There are 3 full time Genetic Counselors in the Genetics Department and the team conducts monthly outreach clinics throughout Western Montana. Academic and Faculty positions are available with the University of Montana!
